House Concert with the Alacorde Piano Trio
Jacqueline Schiller-Audi is a founding member of the Alacorde Piano Trio, which was formed in 2006 and has been performing together since 2007. Jackie is a graduate of the Juilliard School, where she was a student of Peter Serkin. Also a graduate of the Mannes College of Music, she has performed extensively throughout the New York Metropolitan area as a soloist and chamber musician. Ms. Schiller has collaborated with musicians from the New York Philharmonic in their chamber music series at Merkin Hall, the Bruno Walter Auditorium, the Soho Guggenheim, the Roerich Museum and the Donnell Library in NYC. She has participated in the summer music festivals of Aspen, Tanglewood and Musicisti Americani in Sulmona, Italy.
Violinist Jee Sun Lee performs as guest soloist, recitalist and chamber musician throughout the US, Russia, Italy and Korea. She began her violin studies at the age of six and made her solo debut with Korean Chamber Orchestra at the age of nine. While she was in Korea, Dr. Lee won several national competitions. Jee Sun Lee is an active chamber musician, having studied with the Grammy Award-winning Emerson String Quartet and appearing in chamber music performances with them. She was graduated with honors (Cum Laude) from the Seoul National University and earned Master of Music from the Eastman School of Music. In 2006, she finished her Doctor of Musical Arts at the Stony Brook University, where she received a full scholarship. Dr. Lee is a former faculty member at the Stony Brook University, pre-college division, and Long Island Conservatory. She was appointed the Director of Chamber Music at the Ramapo College of NJ in 2013 and currently teaches at the College of Saint Elizabeth and Concordia Conservatory.
Cellist Suji Kim has captivated audiences throughout the world as both performer and pedagogue. She is a recipient of numerous awards and competition prizes. As a vivid soloist, she has performed with many orchestras throughout the world. Ms. Kim is also an active chamber musician, having studied extensively with Shanghai String Quartet. In 2006, her quartet (Montclair String Quartet) won the First Prize of The Music and Earth International Competition in Bulgaria. Ms. Kim is currently a member of Montclair String Quartet, Alacorde Piano Trio, Montclair Piano Trio and Monticelli Trio and appears at chamber music series and festivals in NY, NJ, CT and PA. An orchestra leader, Ms. Kim regularly engaged with The Little Opera Company of NJ, North Jersey Concert Opera, The Baroque Orchestra of North Jersey, Plainfield Symphony, New Brunswick Chamber Orchestra, Westchester Chamber Symphony and Daegu City Orchestra in Korea.
