Georgian pianist Gvantsa Zangaladze completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Tbilisi State Conservatory, where she received several prestigious awards, including first prize in the Concerto Competition, a special grant from Ministry of Culture and the President M. Saakashvili scholarship. She’s been the winner of Presidential Master’s Program in 2013 and a finalist of major competitions, such as the Washington International Piano Competition and the Georgian Competition of Musician Performers. Gvantsa has performed with various orchestras, including the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theater Orchestra and the Tbilisi State Radio and TV Orchestra. Highlights from the past season include solo and chamber performances at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center of Performing Arts, SubCulture, Tishman Auditorium at the New School, Mannes Concert Hall and the American Yacht Club. Gvantsa recently received her Master’s degree at Mannes College the New School for Music, where she studied with Eteri Andjaparidze.
